Directions: This exam will be available in Canvas from Thursday, February 3rd from the beginning of our class period at 9:30 AM and will close in 24 hours at 9:30 AM on Friday, February 4th. Please download the exam as a word document and submit it in Exam #1 in the Assignments section in Canvas. Exams must be uploaded in Canvas by 9:30 AM on Friday, February 4th. Failure to do so will result in a zero for this assignment. You should write at least about a half page for each answer, but feel free to write more than that if needed. Since this is a take-home exam, your answers will be expected to be very thorough and complete. Please read each item very carefully and thoroughly. You should address each question for each number. Remember to save your answers early and often! If you are using a MAC computer, please make sure that you save your exam as a .doc or a .docx or a .pdf file. Make sure that it is NOT saved as a .pages file.

First impressions are important because we analyze everyone, we meet and what people see about us first is what determines whether or not we want to keep seeing this person or not.
