Essay Cove

My two constant stress relievers are exercising and cleaning. I love exercising and it helps me take my mind off of whatever is bothering me and is good for my body. I clean, organize and do most anything that will contribute to whatever is needed around the house, etc… When I the stressful situation has subsided I have a task or chore completed.
One strategy that I find myself doing more during the pandemic is talking issues out with friends that are on my mind and are concerning. For some reason talking about the issue usually is comforting to me. One that does not work for me is to force myself to socialize with individuals that I do not like to be around for various reasons. It is very stressful for me to be around those specific people that create a stress response. If for some reason I have to do something or be around a stressful environment I remind myself that it is only temporary.
